- How to load version 1.00
If you have a physical Shadow of War disc that does not include the DLC, you can switch between both version 1.18 and version 1.00.
The way to do this is to first delete only the Shadow of War application data
Go to Settings→Storage→System Storage→Applications and press the option button on the Shadow of war to delete it.
Then take your PS4 offline and insert the game disc and install it.
Then you can load version 1.00.
Then go online and update your PS4 and you can play the game again with version 1.18.
How to change the version in PS5
1: Go to the PS5 home screen.
2: Go to Settings→Storage→Console Storage→Games and Apps.
Select Shadow of War and Delete.
3: Then take your PS5 offline, insert the Shadow of War disc and reinstall the game.
This will load version 1.00.
Please note that some orc skills and titles may be lost in version 1.00.
It is a good idea to make a backup on your USB.
Notes.
When changing to version 1.00, unplug the LAN cable from the PS5 or PS4.
Otherwise, the update data will start downloading on its own.
How to copy orc
To copy orcs you need the save and restore function of the ps4 usb and a Shadow of War garrison.
How to save Game Data using USB
Settings → Application Saved Data Management → Saved Data in System Storage → Copy to USB Storage Device
How to Restore Game Data
Settings → Application Saved Data Management → Saved Data on USB Storage Device → Copy to System Storage
1: First, deploy the orcs you wish to copy to the area and save them to USB.
2: Then send the orcs to the garrison.
3: Then, restore the data saved on the USB.
4: The orcs in the garrison are deployed to the area again. Now there will be two identical orcs in the area.
5: Save the data to the USB again.
Repeat the same procedure to make as many copies of the orcs as you need.

Orcs other than Olog and Defender can become Stormbringers.
Bruh, this video was the best out of all the DLC orcs! Earth-Salter is one of my favorites!

How do you switch from 1.18 to 1.00
How to load version 1.00

If the cheat death is working, the orc will return about 30 minutes after death.
Quick question when looking for your fortress online should I be around 640 online conquest for yours to appear random?
Sorry, I don't do online conquests so I'm not sure.

I have cut the orcs arms but he was overlord. I have waited long that he cheat death but can he also be the stormbringer?
Unfortunately, if the orc does not return 30 minutes after killing it, it is likely that the orc could not become a Stormbringer.

@@kianmohammadi294 To make the cheat death work, you must wait 30 minutes on the game without opening the map screen or options screen.

@@kianmohammadi294 orcs cheat death in the same place you killed them, if you travel to another region, you'll have to come back to the region you killed the orc, and maybe you get him to cheat death. Also i'm not 100% sure of this, but overlords do not tend to cheat death, i think, so maybe thats other reason it could not cheat death
So i have a disc with baranor and gladriel dlc can i still load 1.00? And will the appearance and title of the orc be changed once i update to 1.18 from 1.00?
Unfortunately, shadow of war definitive edition cannot load version 1.00.

In that case, you can load version 1.00.
However, if your save data contains Lithlad map data, you will not be able to start the game with version 1.00.
Please delete the DLC The Desolation of Mordor Story Expansion and then start the game with version 1.00.

However, none of the orcs promoted from “the pretender” decoys were capable of being transformed in version 1.00.

@@shadowoftheorc7048shadow of the orc and I have a problem which is the following I'm trying to make Tree killer's stormbringer but he's not coming back he's already come back as a machine there were times when he even came back from death but nothing changed I've tried 5 times in a save but it was buggy so I went into another one and fixed it in this save, I already tried 5 times, 3 it came back as a machine and 2 it came back normal, give me a tip then
@@Game_of_Shadow26 When making Stormbringers, it is easier to make them if you deploy The Machine and The Survivor before killing the orc.
When making a Stormbringer from a Warrior class orc, deploy The Claw and The Hook in addition.
Deploying these orcs will greatly increase the chances of the orc becoming a Stormbringer.
Please give it a try.

Hello, just wanted to ask, what do I do when a uruk just refuses to cheat death? For context, I let him kill me two times, then poisoned him to death.
Waited about 30 minutes or more, checked the army board and his corpse is still there.
I know this means he could theoretically come back, as i also filled the army screen, resulting in my other uruk having to kill another to be on the army page.
I'm just stuck now, his corpse still there, still waiting...
The cheat death, which works reliably by having Talion killed twice by orcs, is limited to five per play-through.
After the sixth cheat death, the cheat death will work randomly, and the cheat death will become less likely to work each time the number of cheat deaths are repeated.
Also, even when a cheat death that works reliably is available, the orc may not come back for some reason.
In that case I don't think there is anything the player can do.
The most reliable way is to copy the data to a USB before killing the orc, and if the orc does not come back, restore it and start over.
If the cause of the orc's not coming back is obvious, remove it and then kill the orc again.
Even if you don't know why the cheat death doesn't work, it may work after restoring the data and killing the orc several times.
Often orcs don't come back when I make stormbringers.
But after restoring the data and killing the orc several times, the orc came back as a Stormbringer.

I believe it is just glitched for me, as this was going to be the fourth orc that cheated death, but he never ambushes me.
Thank you anyways, though I have one more question. I'm playing on 1.24 version of Shadow of war, what are the potential odds of a orc coming back as a stormbringer?

@@LifelongComic A player who plays on Xbox in the comments once told me that he could finally make a Stormbringer after killing an orc over 50 times.
With version 1.18, you only need to kill orc about 5 times to become a stormbringer.
Version 1.24 seems to have made it much harder to create a Stormbringer.
@@shadowoftheorc7048 Do you happen to know any way to revert back to 1.18 on an Xbox? I do have the disc, the dlc's came separately.
@@LifelongComic It seems like you can downgrade the version on a pc, but I don't think it's possible on an Xbox.
You might be able to use version 1.00 if you use online storage, but I don't have an Xbox so I don't know how to do that in detail.
